To categorize Jeff Gates’ music would be like choosing one color to describe an entire range of mountains. Jeff has written and performed volumes of tunes that run the gamut from good ol’ back porch blues to 80’s hair band rock. He has recorded two CDs at the Soul Shack - ‘Colorblind Blues’ (2012) and 'Secession' (2013).
We came together as a duo ( Kelly and I, Loch) because we shared the same interest in music meaning we like everything, then later added the sensational Dani Evans and Ginger Winn to form our killer Fierce foursome female front backed by drummer/ multi instrumentalist Chris Cornwell.
Being put into any genre box won't give us enough breathing room to play and perform what we are passionate about.

Deuteronomy Anno Domini (D.A.D.)
Deuteronomy Anno Domini was founded in 2010 by brothers Christopher and John Melton with the hopes of joining the original rock and roll music scene. They quickly found some like minded musicians with varied musical backgrounds and D.A.D. was borne. Now with Chris Melton as front man and lead vocalist, John Melton on drums, Eric Brigman on rhythm and lead guitar, Patrick Bailey on rhythm and lead guitar, and Gary Ramsey on Bass, Deuteronomy Anno Domini has grown rapidly in the local Charlotte, NC area.
All of a Kind
AoK's funky/bluesy (and sometimes jazzy) Soulful/Rock sound has been instrumental in pulling in fans every time we play. We are a band full of rabid music lovers so when you go to an All of a Kind show, expect to hear songs you weren't expecting.
